The Apartment close to centre of the capital city of Fuerteventura island, Puerto del Rosario, which is located approximately 20 minutes drive from Airport. if you are looking for a peaceful place far away from the main turist's centres and overcrowd beaches our place is the perfect choice for your holidays. :-)
The apartment is two-bedroom flat and can accommodate up to 4 adults. We can also provide a baby-bed if you need one. The apartment consist of Blue Room with double-bed, Green room with two separate single beds, kitchen, which is joined with the living room, is equipped with cooking equipment, refrigerator and kettle.
In the living room you can enjoy flat-tv with various spanish programmes. Internet connection also available with fast wifi on premises.
Clean sheets and towels are provided at the start of your stay. In case of longer rent there will be clean set given to you every two weeks with bedsheets.
The apartment is located in a building of 4 flats with shared terrace on the roof. There is also a technical room with washing machine, table and seats for relaxation. Cleaned laundry can be hang also on the terrace. The cords are shared by all occupants. View from the terrace is to the port on one side and seaside on the other side.
Walk to Chica Playa beach is approximately 12 minutes. The beach is well cared of and clean. In neighbourhood you can find several children play areas, sporting playground and children play centre with children care. Nearby you can find shops, petrol station or fitness center.
Cofete - a wild beach located at south-west of the island. Drive takes one and three quarters of hour from Puerto. The last hour is on unpaved roads so we suggest careful driving and suitable car. Beautiful beaches with no service, but nearly no people around. It's a great full-day trip, don't forget to take drinks and some food with you. Also please be careful as the sea streams can be violent and there may not be help nearby, so we suggest keep yourself very close to the shore.
Nice and calm beaches north-west of Puerte. Drive time is around 35 minutes. You can enjoy calm waters and beaches and bays. Dark lava stones in combination with white sand. Ideal place for families with kids. And also: usually it's not overcrowded.
Sand Dunes “Parque natural” are at the Corralejo direction. Breath taking dunes and sandy sceneries reminiscent of a sand desert. Driving time is only 15 minutes to the Corallejo direction, when you arrive to a roundabout take exit to “Parque Hollandés” and you will be driving through the national park. There are nice beaches and you can park enywhere and enjoy the scenery, or get to on of the beaches. Parking places are visible. It's better to park where you can see other cars, otherwise you can get trapped in the sand and help can be pricy (around 100 EUR). When you are on the way you can check out Corallejo as it's the most famous turist destination in the north with its own Aqua park.
Lajares - trip to Volcano. It's located north of the Puerto. From Callete it's approximately 40 minutes drive. Lajares is a small town of "free" people walking without shoes. From there it's a pleasant walk to the volcano “Vulkan Calderon Hondo”. Check out it on google for more information. Few minutes by car from Larajes in the direction to Majanicho is a place to park and then you can start the walk on a unpaved walk path. The whole trip is going to take 2-3 hours.
On the way from Lajares you can check out nice restaurant “El Horno” in Villaverde. It's on the main road through the town and you cannot miss it. They do excellent local specialities from goat meat. As a desert you can try “bombitas” - very tasty :) You will find a huge portions so even us - ig eaters - can fully enjoy and other people can share single meal.
Pláže Sotavento- španělsky “Playa de Sotavento de Jandía” oblíbené místo pro své široké pláže s přírodní zátokou, která se naplní při přílivu a ohřeje se i na 26 stupňů. Nacházejí se zde i nudapláže. Z Puerta je to asi 50 minut autem.
Ajuy - na západě ostrova - divoké skalnaté pláže, pěkné na procházku, cesta opět cca 45min.
El Oasis park – botanická zahrada a pro milovníky zvířat doporučujeme navštívit toto Zoo, která je plné nádherných zvířat. Blízký přístup ke zvířatům dodává tomuto Zoo speciální atmosféru. Můžete si zaplavat s lachtany, nebo nakrmit žirafu. Krásný rodinný výlet na celý den.
Ostrov Losbos nebo Lanzarote. Od severovýchodního pobřeží Fuerteventury, cca 2 km, se nachází ostrov Losbos, který již od 60 let není obydlen. Nachází se tam krasná fauna a flora, krásný ostrov pro rozjímání a relaxaci.
Ostrov Lanzarote se nachází něco málo 12 km od severního pobřeží Fuerteventury. Je to 4. největší ostrov ze souostroví Grand Canarie. Má nádherné vulkanické scenérie - doporučujeme na ostrově navštívit známý národní park Timanfaya, který má mimo jiné horké gejzíry nebo aktivní sopky.

Right next to the building is a shop closing at 11pm. You can find in there basic food, vegetables and drinks. To make larger shopping we suggest to visit SPAR which is located few streets away (Calle Almte, Lallemand 84). We also suggest to drive to supermarket Mercadona (www.mercadona.es), address: Pol. Ind. La Hondura - Calle los Alisios, 35600 Puerto del Rosario, Las Palmas, Spain. They provide large selection of goods for reasonable prices. Opening times: Mon-Sat 9:00 – 21:30.
Yes it is, but it is de-saltified water which doesn't taste very well (by our standards), therefore we suggests to buy barrel water. At the beginning of your stay, you will be provided with a barrel of water (5 litres).
There is no designated parking space to the appartment, but due to good location there are no parking zones and you will be able to park in the streets next to the building.
Car rental is very beneficial in case you want to see more then just the capital city. You can rent car at the airport with several companies. Prices are competitive and you can get even better deal if you book them with your filght ticket booking. There are beatiful attractions which become in your reach when you have a car.

Yes, you will find an excellent optically connected internet line in our appartment. Wifi is available and you will find the details in the appartment.
As Fuerteventura is part of Spain and therefore EU, you will be charged the same as within continental EU.
